IN MEMORIUM

Those who have gone to wait for us
at The Bridge

"THE RAINBOW BRIDGE"

Author unknown

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been
especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends
so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine
and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are
restored to health and vigour;
those who were hurt or maimed
are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them
in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content,
except for one small thing;
they each miss someone very special,
someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together,
but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver.
Suddenly, he breaks from the group,
flying over the green grass, faster and faster.

You have been spotted,
and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion,
never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face;
your hands again caress the beloved head
and you look once more into those trusting eyes,
so long gone from your life,
but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge,
together...

"RUBY" Lacreme Mischief  At Holzar

My Darling Ruby passed away on Tuesday 8th January 2008, aged 8 years & 8 Months.

If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.
Sadly missed and in our hearts forever.

"ABBEY" Bucksteps Bubble Gum At Holzar

My lovely Abbey crossed the bridge at the grand age of 12yrs & 4months.

When you love so much the hurt is unbearable,
but the love lasts forever and the hurt fades with time.

"TED"

Our beautiful boxer Ted, missed every day.  One day we'll all be reunited.

Followed our boxer Jack to Rainbow Bridge in 2006.  They were the best of friends and inseparable.

Gone from our lives but treasured memories will forever stay in our hearts.

"JACK"

Passed over to The Bridge in 2005, our beautiful Jack took a piece of each of our hearts with him.

We think of you every day,  deeply loved and sadly missed.

"LUCY" Huttonvale Shiraz at Holzar

Sadly gone to the bridge after 10 wonderful years. Lucy saw 3 children come into this world and helped them to grow up, she lived with our boxer Bailey, Alf our pug and even tolerated our cats. She's been there through the good times, and the bad - always giving that loving stability we all need sometimes.
"Woosy Wocket" - she'll always be with us, in our hearts and memories.

Sincere thanks to our friends at Huttonvale and Holzar for allowing us the privilege of such a wonderful companion.

"SAM"  Bucksteps Toblerone at Holzar

My darling Sam died at 7 with a brain tumor.

They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.

Much love and in my thoughts always.

When any of us lose our treasured dog, that deep sense of loss and mourning is unique to each of us, but we will always have our fond memories to hold on to. Losing a pet is always painful and we cannot hope to take that pain away, so we have now introduced our Rainbow Bridge pages, where you can have a fitting memorial listed for you, your family and friends to view 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the world. Your loved pet can be remembered for the love and companionship that they brought to you - an online memorial is a fitting way to create a lasting tribute to your dog's life.

West Lancs Boxer Training Club have for many years, raised funds for Boxer Welfare. The club maintains it's own welfare fund reserved for the assistance of special and needy cases where a boxer requires special help or to support breed health issues that arise. Each listing on our remembrance pages, including a photograph and wording from you, can assist those who are still with us.  We ask for a donation of £10, with all proceeds going to our special Boxer Welfare fund, reserved for the specific purpose of giving boxer dogs an improved quality of life.
